Postcards from Far Away

As much as I’m feeling better, I’m still not feeling great, and it looks like it’s going to be another day spent mainly in bed, alternating between thesis correcting, writing assignment correcting, watching “Big Love,” and trying desperately to find the motivation to study for the exam I have this coming Saturday. (That was a run-on sentence if I ever saw one.)

I’m hoping I feel better enough on Tuesday to head to Ludwigshafen to surprise German Mom again, but if I feel like this, I don’t know if I’ll go. I’ll probably be okay because I don’t have to get up at 5am tomorrow, so that’s exciting. That’ll give me most of the day to rest and then I can get up and head to good old LU on Tuesday. I has prezents 4 her.

At any rate, I got the prescription in the mail, and I’ll fill that on Monday; they’ll probably have to order it. I still can’t believe they sent it to me. I thought I was going to have to figure out a time to pick it up, but I didn’t and it was just so nice of them to send it.

I’m just going to finish grading this one thesis and then take another break and watch another episode of “Big Love” and hopefully fall asleep for a while. It’s noon, but man, I don’t feel good.
