went mailbox shopping tonight. I have never seen such a huge mailbox before. ultimately, not the one I chose. xoxoxoxo

For a while, my mom didn’t believe that plastic mailboxes existed; my sister (correctly) was convinced that they did, in fact, exist. In an effort to prove my mom wrong, we pointed out every plastic mailbox we saw. Then my dad installed one for my grandma, which reminded my mom of their existence each time we went to Grandma’s.
Now, in a twist of irony, we have a plastic mailbox at the new house. I honestly think of this every time someone talks about mailbox shopping. :)
